Our Pre-Ballet classes are suitable for children from around 3 years old – here the focus is on playfully discovering movement, rhythm and imagination. From age 5, children learn the first basics of classical ballet in Mini Ballet – always age-appropriate and with lots of fun.

Pre-Ballet is the playful introduction for children from around 3 years old: short sequences, music, stories and plenty of variety spark a love of movement. In Mini Ballet, from around 5 years old, children learn the first ballet basics such as positions, simple combinations and movement sequences – still playful, but with more structure and technique. Which class suits best depends not only on age but also on your child – just get in touch and we'll be happy to advise you.

No, not at all. The children are introduced to movement and dance lovingly and playfully. Our focus is on conveying joy in movement and building self-confidence – not on perfect technique.

The class begins with a short warm-up and playful movement exercises. This is followed by small dance sequences, ballet steps or improvisations set to music. It usually ends with a creative or calm segment – such as little choreographies or moments of relaxation.

For the first classes, comfortable clothing your child can move well in – for example leggings and a T-shirt – plus non-slip socks is enough. Once it's clear that your child will attend regularly, we'll give you all the information on where to get the right ballet wear (leotard, tights and ballet slippers). It's important to us that every child feels comfortable – without any stress at the start. Please also give your child a small water bottle.

Of course! Dance and movement promote body awareness, coordination and expressiveness – regardless of gender. All children are welcome in our classes.

On the first session, very gladly – after that, it's usually easier for the children to dance independently and engage with the class. At the end of each course block, there are small performances where the children can show what they've learned.

Please bring your child to the class room on time for the start of class and pick them up there straight after class ends. Our supervision begins when your child is handed over in the class room and ends when the class finishes; there is no supervision in the changing area, the toilets or outside the class rooms. Unfortunately, siblings who aren't taking part in the class can't come into the class room.

Our ballet classes take place in fixed groups with limited places, so individual classes can't be booked. Book a trial class or the monthly kids ballet membership online through our booking system – we'll then add your child to the right group. We recommend starting with a trial class, so your child can get to know the class and the group and you can be sure they enjoy it. With the kids' monthly membership, your child gets a fixed weekly class spot – always on the same day at the same time. The membership has no minimum term and can be cancelled to the end of the current billing month. Switching to a different class day is only possible permanently and if places are available. If several family members hold a membership with us at the same time, you receive a 10% family discount. You'll find the current prices on our prices page.

Please let us know as early as possible if your child can't attend – ideally by WhatsApp, phone or email. As our groups are kept deliberately small, we unfortunately have to cancel the class if fewer than three children take part. Missed classes can't be made up or refunded; we offer replacement classes when we ourselves have to cancel a class. A quick heads-up helps us a lot with planning – thank you for your understanding!

Kids' ballet doesn't take place during the Bavarian school holidays, on public holidays or on school-free days, nor on the days just before the Christmas holidays; the regular classes pause so the children can enjoy their holidays. The monthly fee stays the same, as it's calculated as an annual fee spread over twelve monthly instalments. We'll inform you of the exact dates in good time before each holiday period.

School holidays, public holidays and school-free days are already factored in – so the amount stays constant instead of fluctuating month to month. Ongoing costs (e.g. rent, staff, administration) arise all year round; the constant rate lets us ensure quality, planning certainty and your child's firmly reserved class spot – even over the holidays.
