Frequently Asked Questions
What is Yoga Lunch Flow?
Yoga Lunch Flow is our midday yoga class: we combine flowing movements from Vinyasa Yoga with calmly held poses from Hatha Yoga. The class lasts 45 minutes and is your mindful break in the middle of the day.
What does yoga at lunchtime do for me?
The midday class gives you new energy for the rest of the day: you release the tension that has built up from sitting at your desk, strengthen your body and regain a clear, focused mind. This way, you head into the second half of your day refreshed and focused.
Is Yoga Lunch Flow suitable for beginners?
Yes, the class is suitable for all levels. Our teachers show you variations for every pose, so you can adapt your practice to your body and to how you feel that day – whether you're just starting out with yoga or have been practising for a while.
Do I need to be particularly flexible?
No. Flexibility isn't a prerequisite – it develops over time. Yoga isn't about perfection but about awareness, breath and movement – everyone starts from wherever they are right now.
How does Yoga Lunch Flow differ from your other yoga classes?
The most similar class is Yoga Hatha x Vinyasa: it also combines flowing transitions with held poses – in 60 minutes instead of 45. Flow Yoga is calmer in pace and ends with an extended final relaxation, Evening Flow Yoga is designed to help you wind down at the end of the day, and Slow Yoga Flow is entirely focused on relaxation and regeneration. For special stages of life, we also offer Pregnancy Yoga, Yoga Mum & Baby, Kids' Yoga and Parent & Child Yoga.
What should I bring to Yoga Lunch Flow?
Please bring a towel – it's mandatory for hygiene reasons. If you forget yours, you can rent one at the studio for €2. Wear comfortable clothing that lets you move freely; for a secure grip on the mat, we recommend non-slip socks (Pilates or grip socks). Please also bring something to drink (no glass bottles). We provide mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets and straps at the studio free of charge.
Can I take part if I have physical complaints or am pregnant?
Please let your teacher know about any complaints before class so she can adapt your practice individually. If you have acute pain or have recently had surgery, we recommend consulting your doctor beforehand. During pregnancy, we recommend our Pregnancy Yoga, and after birth Yoga Mum & Baby – both are specifically tailored to these stages. Feel free to get in touch, we're happy to advise you.
