Frequently Asked Questions
What is Weekend Pump Pilates?
Weekend Pump Pilates is your powerful kick-off to the weekend: we pick up the pace, challenge your endurance and make your muscles burn with flowing, powerful movements. A class lasts 60 minutes – afterwards, you head into the weekend fully worked out and full of endorphins.
How does Weekend Pump differ from classic Pilates?
The fundamentals stay the same: controlled movements, a strong core and conscious breathing. But Weekend Pump steps up the pace and the endurance – the exercises flow seamlessly into one another. The music can also be more powerful here than in our calmer classes.
Is Weekend Pump Pilates suitable for beginners?
Yes. Every exercise comes with variations for every level, and you set your own pace and intensity. If you're unsure, just talk to us – we'll help you find the right way to get started.
When does Weekend Pump Pilates take place?
Weekend Pump Pilates is your kick-off to the weekend. You'll find the current days and times in our timetable.
What's the difference between Weekend Pump and Pilates All-In-One?
Both classes get you fit for the weekend, but with different emphases. Weekend Pump is fast, endurance-focused and powerful – perfect for working up a sweat. Pilates All-In-One is a best-of Pilates on Saturdays: gentle mobilisation, challenging strength sequences and flowing movements alternate.
What should I bring to Weekend Pump Pilates?
Please bring a towel – it's mandatory for hygiene reasons. If you forget yours, you can rent one at the studio for €2. Wear comfortable clothing that lets you move freely, and bring plenty to drink, as this class gets sweaty (no glass bottles). We train in non-slip socks (Pilates or grip socks). We provide mats and all other equipment at the studio.
Can I do Weekend Pump during pregnancy or after giving birth?
Weekend Pump is an intense workout. During pregnancy, we recommend our Prenatal Pilates class, which is fully tailored to the needs of this time. After birth, it's best to start with Postnatal Pilates, which we offer as a fixed course block, or with Pilates Mum & Baby before returning to more intensive classes. Feel free to get in touch, we're happy to advise you.
